Introduction

JAGERTA Welfare Association and Human Organization (JWAHO) is a non-governmental organization working in the district of Kamber-shahdadkot. A group of dedicated and committed friends has been working informally since 2005 and some have worked together with local organizations during the flood emergency of 1994.

Later, it was decided that there should be a platform from which such activities may be carried out systematically. Thus the name jagerta (Awareness) was chosen to enlighten the communities living in the remote areas of the district who do not entertain even the basic facilities guaranteed by the constitution of Pakistan.

Jagerta Welfare Association and Human Organization (JWAHO) was registered under the social voluntary Act 1961 with the social welfare and community development department, the government of Sindh on January 18th, 2010 bearing registration number VA-33
