Poor Sindh and the Monsoon Rain Flood
When there is a calamity by nature then every human being is a victim of it but when we work for their welfare then we should not see that if a rich man's hotel is affected by this calamity and he is completely destroyed. If it is done, it is as important as a poor man's hut
If a rich man's hotel or palace or house has been washed away in a disaster, it is quite possible that that rich man can rebuild his house and build his own hotel. But a poor man's hut takes a lot of time to build.
What do we do when we try to define poverty? We imagine what this poor man has access to! In our view, the poorest are disabled people. After the disabled people, the poor are those who have nothing to eat, who have nothing to live on, and who have no business of their own.
After climate change, the whole of Pakistan has been shaken by the destruction caused by the monsoon rains in Pakistan.
In Pakistan, the seas are in Karachi and all the water in this sea, which is due to rains, has to fall. The entire rainwater will enter Pakistan through the Indus River. And it is obvious that when the entire water of the whole, which we call flood, will come towards Sindh, then whatever irrigation system is ready in Sindh, it will be completely destroyed. And the full force of the flood will fall on the people and people's houses will be washed away. Unfortunately And so it happened.
Sindh experienced three disasters at once. The number one calamity from nature was the rain and the torrential rain was so heavy that people's houses started to collapse and the roofs of the houses began to leak and the walls started to break. The roof began to weaken and began to fall on top of the people, so they were not able to live in any respect.
We should keep it in our minds that poverty is already high in Sindh where people don't have enough money to make their houses strong! He invests the savings of half a man's life in building a house. And I am talking about these people, the new urban population. The houses of the village people are made of mud and their houses are made of dirt which is washed away by a little rain and a little water. Due to continuous rains for a month, the condition of the houses was destroyed. And when the guest water of the whole of Pakistan entered Sindh, Sindh welcomed this water with its customary hospitality. But that water was so much that the houses were drowned, property and cattle were drowned, but people were facing great difficulty in saving their lives and the lives of their families and people kept drowning in the water.
Breaking the 30 years floods record The entire Sindh province was affected by this rain.
